What size hoop is needed? It says 4 sizes included, but doesn't mention the size of hoops. Thanks

Hi, Ginger! Heather from embroidery.com asked that I reply to you. I'm Jackie (PJ), the designer of the project.
To complete the "petals", you need a hoop that allows for a 130.1mm x 198.4mm design; for most owners that would be a 6x10 hoop. Once all the petals are complete and joined to each other in the hoop to form a big ring, you will sew (not embroider at this point) in a center circle to fill in the ring. At that point, you will embroider the center motif in the center circle. The center motif comes in 4 sizes, and most people do the biggest one they can, based on the hoops they have. If your largest hoop measures 150mm across, then you would use Center 150mm. If you have a hoop that matches up with one of the larger center motifs, you could do one of them. This entire explanation is shown step by step in the tutorial, and it would probably be much more clear when you see all the photos, but I hope this helps a bit (o;

Can you tell me the overall size? I only seen the petal sizes. Thanks.

Thanks for the question, Julia. I have now bolded that information in the memo above so it's more obvious. It says the following: The finished topper measures 25 inches in diameter. I hope that's what you needed.

I want to let you know that I have stitched out several of PJ Designs and they are WONDERFUL! I'm sort of a beginner compared to most stitchers, and some of the designs look overwhelming at first, but they are not! I take each section at a time and not get to far ahead of myself. and before I know it, I'm finished and proud of the piece I've made. I just wanted to pass this information on. Hope this helps someone "on-the-fence" about purchasing these designs.
