We used a lighter weight (60 weight) thread on the eyes for finer detail.
Once upon a time, there lived a poor widow who lived in a humble cottage adorned with two beautiful rose bushes, one bearing white roses and the other red. Her two daughters, Snow White and Rose Red, were named for the roses and were just as lovely. Snow White was quiet and gentle, and loved to help in the household. Rose Red was lively and loved to run about the fields, picking flowers and chasing butterflies. Both girls had a sweet and cheerful disposition, and brought much joy to their mother.
