Tip: If you wish to place fabric in one block, do the following: Place and tackdown fabric. To remove fabric in center block, use a sharp seam ripper to cut into appliqué fabric. Then use cuticle scissors to finish cutting away fabric. Please be aware that the shown sample above uses appliquéd fabric to cover main areas which are not filled with stitches.
