I'm sorry but it sounds like you're wanting this product to be freestanding or appliqued, but it is not. The main part of this design is a light fill stitch, with a satin stitch border. You would need to embroider it on some kind of fabric, with the intention that the fabric will remain. For instance, you could embroider it on a t-shirt with some cutaway backing.

How does this actually work? Is this simply a satin stitch around a finished block? If so, do you cut your material to just under the border and float on tearaway or am i on the wrong track completely? LOL
