Hi, Martha. I'm sorry for your trouble. I am emailing you the instructions. The handle instructions are on pages 33-38. Please let me know if you need anything else.

P.S. I'm glad the sm bowl/square egg holder turned out cute!

Is there any way to modify this pattern to fit a 5X7" hoop?

Hi Sue, I'm PJ (Jackie), the designer of the project. Heather from embroidery.com asked that I reply to your question on this project as well as any other re-sizing questions you might have. I normally do not recommend re-sizing, because the tutorial lists the sizes of fabrics to cut, so of course that would all change based on the size you decided upon. But more importantly, unless the re-sizing is done consistently on all project pieces, they will not fit together in the finished project. So, for example, if you found that one project piece needed to be changed by 10%, all pieces must also be changed by 10%. As long as you remember that, you can do it, but it's easy to forget to change one and then the project is ruined. If you choose to give it a try, you need to start with the biggest project piece to determine your percentage, and then use that percentage on all pieces. The other thing that may happen (I've seen it happen with some software) is that when you re-size a design containing decorative stitching, for some reason the software changes the decorative stitching to straight stitching. Hope this information helps!
