Hi, Pat. Thanks for the feedback on PJ's designs. Sadly, PJ (Jackie) has retired from digitizing designs and is no longer making new designs. The only other bowl I can find that she has made is for her Build-a-Honeycomb set. If it were me, I'd probably play around with making this Easter bowl larger.

I was wondering if the inn-spire product is workable with the embroidery machine without hurting the machine. Is it really stiff before it is heated and molded and soft enough to stitch through. I have used many of PJ Designs but never with this product. Any input that you could give me about this product for this project, before I purchase the Easter Extraordinaire design would be appreciated.
Thank You,
Carolee

Hi, Carolee, I'm Jackie (PJ), the designer of the project. Heather asked me to jump in, so here I am! The Inn-spire is fine for the embroidery machine! The tutorial guides you through making a template to pre-cut the Inn-spire, because it it too stiff to trim in the hoop. The only thing I recommend is that you use a Microtex needle when sewing it--I found they work very well and eliminate the Inn-spire shredding the thread. That being said, my neighbor, who also has the embroidery bug, forgot to use one and had no problem. I always do, though. Hope this helps!

Hi...I have not bee able to find Inn-Spire....where can you buy it? Thank you....
Update...I was looking for batting and it is listed as a stabilizer. Thank you

Hi, Carol. I'd recommend Floriani's Stitch N Shape Stabilizer for you. We carry here at Embroidery.com and it is very similar to the Inn-Spire product (which seems to be hard to find at this time):

I just finished the small bowl and like the way it works. I would love to have a pattern that was bigger for candy dishes using the inn-spire. Do you have any other patterns? Love your designs. I have quite a few.
