Medallion Mania

Ahhh, January...time for my annual the-holidays-are-over-time-to-settle-in-with-anew-project design pack! And here to fill the bill...Medallion Mania! This design pack, requiring a 6x6 or greater hoop, features 15 different in-thehoop medallions, each measuring 5 7/8" square. The medallions, when completed, become your "building blocks" to create whatever project you have in mind by sewing them together with traditional sewing.

Each medallion, built on muslin instead of stabilizer, features a main fabric and a background fabric as well as dense fleece batting. The detail stitching on the background fabric forms an overall pattern as the medallions are joined, and the main fabric detail stitching on each medallion features a different motif as well as a rich satin edge.

And what could you create? In my sample I used all 15 medallions to create a table runner, but how about a bed runner or placemats or toss pillows or floor pillows or a tote bag or...you get the idea!
