Yes, it sure is a good alternative to spray. Thanks for the feedback, Brenda.

Creating a semi-permanent bond between most fabrics, battings and textiles, this powder-like bonding agent is needle friendly and easy to use for creating a fusible bond on almost any project!
Sprinkle QS-Free Fuse over the base material, place the second piece of fabric over the top of the powdered surface, cover with parchment paper or a Teflon pressing sheet, apply direct heat and pressure with an iron or press (medium temperature) -- hold for at least 4 seconds, the bond is now set!
Use for creating fusible quilt batting, fusible stabilizer, fabric to fabric -- appliques, costumes, quilting, home dec and more! Available in 2 ounce shakers. Refill available.

Heather, will this powder work well on wool
Hi, Christi. I checked with RNK and they have the following information for you: "Free Fuse works okay not great on wool. It doesn’t hurt the wool. Wool has to much loft and it wants to fall through the wool. If you use it heavier, it will take away the loft of wool, so we recommend using with restraint."

Hi Cristi, It is recommended that you experiment on a little piece of your fabric, but it works on most fabrics! I haven't been able to try it on wool yet, myself.

Sounds like a much better alternative to spray
