What is the copyright policy?

Each vendor at Embroidery.com has a copyright statement at the bottom of their design's production page. For most vendors apparel created from our designs may be legally distributed. However, embroidery files must not be modified, sold, or distributed to others. This also applies to free designs.

Penalties for copyright violation can be grevious. Fines may be issued from $100,000 to $250,000 whether the cost of the design was low or expensive. Jail time of up to six years or seizure of embroidery property may also be the result of copyright violation. Copyright violation includes both unauthorized copying and distribution of designs or software. The idea of "no one will know" is not worth the consequences.
