Lauri demonstrates Kimberbell Pull Flowers
Pull flowers have a thread at one end, which you -- pull! (surprised?)
Just tug a litte and ease the ruffling flower fabric down the strand.
Then thread a needle with the exposed length of thread. You can then stitch the flower to your project with the thread that it came with. How secure is that!
You can mix and match pull flower strands and make bouquets with them, too!
Lauri suggests a needle with a larger eye.
Tape the pull flower strand, to preserve the thread. Then cut.
One end of your half pull flower will now not have a knot. Lauri demonstrates how you can tie your own.
Add embroidery floss, making it a lot longer. Stitch the floss back through the pull flower to secure the knot that you made.
From the other end, pull your flower, and tie the new ends together.
Now you are ready to stitch your flower onto your project!
