I haven't used that particular machine, Michaelyn, but a few general things to keep in mind:

• You have a maximum sewing are of 4"x4", so much sure when you're ordering designs that they are smaller than that (you'll need a little room for your presser foot to move).
• Make sure to use good quality products, especially stabilizers and thread, as they will make all the difference in your embroidery. (Of course, Embroidery.com is a great source for those items. :) )
• If you don't already have one, you'll want to invest in a reader/writer box so you can take designs from the internet to your machine. You'll see the Ultimate Box linked to this page. I'd recommend the Ultimate Box Basic or Plus for your machine. (If you need a blank card, a Type I card is recommended.)
