Butterfly Pattern of the Month / Love - Monarch, Feb 2016

 

Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month continues with the February 2016 design "Love ~ Monarch."

We stitched the design by itself on 28ct Vintage Blue Whisper Cashel and framed it in a 6" x 6" black frame, and also stitched all three designs together displayed as a banner using a 5" Butterfly Fabric Holder and framed in a 6" x 15" black frame. Stitch count for "Love ~ Monarch" is 62w x 62h, approximately 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" on 14ct.  DMC colors in "Love ~ Monarch" are B5200, 310, 471, 472, 580, 721, 740, 741, 742, 743, 744, 776, 935, 3777, 3803, 3804, 3805, 3806 and 3857. Specialty threads used are Weeks Dye Works 4129 Swampwater (2 skeins if stitching whole series) (DMC sub 3021) and Glissen Gloss Rainbow Blending Threads 403 Iridescent Pastel Yellow, 640 Iridescent Apricot, 810 Orange, 900 Multi-Black (2 cards if stitching whole series).  The design is embellished (optional) with two extra small gold glitter bee buttons.
