What does StitchArtist Level 3 do?

Level 3 Controls part 1: Tool Pane Additions

Tours the new buttons on the tool pane, including defaults for drawing with lines or curves, set angles, auto-scrolling toggle on/off, delay stitch generation, stitch generation on-demand, adding texture with carving lines, importing vector graphics.

Level 3 Controls part 2: Vector Art

Path tools for vector art: breaklines (chop apart), union (weld), logical subtract (cookie cutter), flatten, automatic outlining from stitches, inflating with holes removed and corners softened.

Level 3 Controls part 3: Magic Wand for Lines

Brian creates a redwork design from line art with just a five clicks. Explains use of styles and quick styles to change the look of the design by changing runs, doubles and returns. Includes a primer on styles for quickly setting properties on one or more objects at once.

Level 3 Controls part 4: StyleSheets

Creating stylesheets for sets of stitch types and properties which you frequently use. How to publish stylesheets for your own use, as well as to share with others. Applying a stylesheet so that its properties and stitch types are automatically applied to objects as you create them. Selecting style sheets for use, switching between stylesheets, editing stylesheets on the fly, selecting or deselecting stylesheets in order to pick which ones will be available for use during a particular project.

Level 3 Controls part 5: Making & Publishing your own

Drawing an outline, adding motif stitches, publishing, using, and scaling the motif, as well as updating and replacing a motif. Also discusses baselines, x & y axis, and balance.
