Hemingworth CutAway Stabilizer Roll, 12 in x 11 yards

CutAway stabilizer is ideal for use with stretchy, non-stable fabrics such as T-shirts, sweatshirts and polar fleece. Hemingworth CutAway is a woven, medium-weight stabilizer perfect for designs up to 18,000 stitches. CutAway stabilizes fabric and stops it from stretching while embroidering. Simply hoop one sheet of CutAway behind the fabric and after embroidering, trim the excess backing away with specialty embroidery scissors. An added bonus, the backing that remains trapped underneath the stitching maintains the design’s shape after repeated washings. Roll size: 12 inches x 11 yards.
*CutAway is also available in rolls of 12 inches by 27 yards. It is also available in 8” x 8” or 10” x 16” pre-cut sheets, containing 50 sheets per package.

The designs have 30,000 stitches on a 6 inch area and it is on lightweight cotten /poly blend. It is going to be used on squares on a quilt. I do know it needs strong stabilizing, is this still the stabilizer you suggest. I noticed that not all of my purchases are not on my history. I bought the Primary, Deeper, Richer, Metallic along with moreHemingworth threads from you last year but I guess it was before I put my name on the member list. Thank you for your hel

No, this is not the stabilizer I'd recommend for you. I'd recommend a sheet or two of Floriani's No Show Nylon Mesh Fusible / Black:

what stabilizer do I need to embroidery a very detailed design on black cotten ( does not stretch)

I should have added that its for 10 large squares on a quilt. The design is a 6" machine embroidered design. I was guessing i needed black mned cut away stabilizer. Please help!

Hi, Jeannell. Thanks for the question. If you cotton fabric is lightweight, I'd recommend using a sheet or two of "Floriani's No Show Nylon Mesh Fusible / Black". If your fabric is heavy weight, I'd recommend a sheet of a black tearaway along with a sheet of "Floriani's No Show Nylon Mesh / Black 12 in x 10 yds". Here are links to those two Floriani products.
