Holiday Lace Design Pack

This design is a freestanding lace insert. PDF instructions are included for the use of a lace insert and the proper techniques for creating freestanding lace embroidery. Remember that this lace design can be stitched in any color.

To make the lace inserts, embroider the design on one or two pieces of a water soluble stabilizer such as Floriani's Wet'n Gone or Aquafilm Badgemaster. Rinse the stabilizer away. Once the freestanding lace piece is dry, you can sew it onto a napkin, tablecloth, or garment. Use a zig-zag stitch to tack it into place. Once the embroidery is sewn down, reverse the item and trim the fabric away from behind the embroidery.
