The E-Z Stitch Scroll Rods allow you the versatility and convenience to size your frame to any project you desire. Scroll Rod sets include two scroll rods and will fit any size Side Bars. Scroll Rods are crafted from solid unfinished Birch hardwood and sanded for smoothness. The Tape for Rods is already attached. E-Z Stitch Tape for Fabric sold separately.

"Size" of Scroll Frame Rods refers to the length of the Scroll Rods. Regular Scroll rods are 1/2” in diameter and are available in sizes 6", 8", 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", 20", 22" and 24" .

The Heavy Duty rods are 5/8" in diameter and available in 18", 20", 22", 24", 26",    3/4" in diameter 28", 30", 36", 42" and 48".

How it works: There are two separate parts to make the system work the Tape for Scroll Rods & Tape for Fabric. Each part has a very sticky back, the Tape for Scroll Rods comes already applied to the Scroll Rods. The Tape for Fabric attaches across each end of your fabric or canvas. Click Here for Video Demo of how to attach the Tape to the Fabric.

The Tape for Fabric and & Rods eliminating the need for hand stitching or machine sewing the fabric to the webbing on the Scroll Rods. The unique design allows you to remove and reattach your project in seconds.

Do you know if you will be selling 56-60 inch scroll rods in the future ? And if they would ship to UK

Hi Lara

Actually we currently looking into carrying longer scroll rods 54, 60, 66, and 72. I do not have any pricing on this yet. I am hoping that they will be available in the next couple of months. Yes they will be available for shipping to the UK. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have several sizes of webbed rods. I there a way I can convert them to tape rods?

Yes, you would just remove the webbing and attach tape for rods to your rods and tape for fabric to your fabric. If you need instructions, please see our needlework blog:

I would prefer the original sew on kind of attaching fabric to my scroll rods. Is it possible to obtain any of these rods now?

Yes, Pandora, we still have rods with a canvas webbing that you can sew onto available. Here's a link to all our webbing style rods:

I am placing an order tonight. My fabric measures 36”. I would like to have my rods be 38”. I have ordered 42” rods and would like them cut to 38” and have you adjust my invoice for the upcharge. Thank you

Thanks for the message, Alice. As discussed over the phone, I have emailed you to confirm your order adjustments. Please watch for my email.

When American Dreams was still in business you could actually order scroll rods in sizes they didn’t normally offer by purchasing the larger scroll rod price and a nominal up charge for the alterations. It’s irritating when there are not those in between sizes offered even at a Slightly higher price! I could really use a 38” or 40” right now

Hi, Pamela. We're sorry for your trouble. I have spoken to my manager and he has authorized me to offer our customers a similar deal. So, you would pay for the rod the next size up, plus a $3.00 alteration fee. Please let me know if you'd like to proceed and I'll send you an invoice to pay from.

If you check I just ordered the 42” scroll rod. If you can stop that order and make it a 38” for the upcharge for the alteration. Or do you just want me to send the extra $ since I already placed an order for a 42

I need a pair of scroll rods that accommodate a piece of aida that is 50". Any suggestions? I could cut it down to 48" but that only leaves me 2" on each side of my stitching.

Hi Sharon right now the largest rods we have are the 48" I have contacted our supplier and see if they carry them longer. Even if you cut it down it would come right up the the side bars and I recommend having at least a inch or so on each side of the fabric to help scroll it up and it also helps with the tension of your fabric. I will let you know what my supplier says if they do carry them longer.

My fabric piece is 29.5 inches wide. What size heavy scroll bars will I need?

Donnett H.

I like to have my scroll rods a couple inches larger then my fabric. This way I have space on either side of the fabric for my fingers to scroll the bars up. So with your fabric being almost 30” and the next scroll rod size up is 36”.

HI Patricia We do not have 60" Scroll Rods at this time. That being said we are looking into carrying them in the future. Be sure to check back as we are adding new products all the time. Thanks

I am looking for a pair of 60 inch scroll rods. Do you make these? If not, do you happen to know where I might find them?
