Jo, here's some more information for you:
In short, these needles are an older style, without the larger eye, etc. We are looking into get the newer style available in the Organ brand. In the meantime, we recommend our DIME needle product line as they are already in the newer style with the larger eye, etc. Here's a link to DIME's 11/75 sharp flat shank embroidery needles, if you're interested:

Please confirm that these are actual "embroidery" needles as opposed to general sewing needles (larger eye and special scarf).
