How do I make a dropped cap in Essentials

A fun look with lettering is to enlarge the first capitalized letter and drop or center it in relation to the other letters of a word. Here’s how:

1. Click “A” to start the text entry in Essentials
2. Replace the “ABC” text with the word you want
3. Notice if you click on the first letter, a box around it appears. To enlarge the letter, grab one of the corner nodes of the box and pull it out.
4. To change the placement of the enlarged letter, drag the letter into position.
5. To change the color, click the color swatch in the properties box on the bottom right. Select a different color in the selection box that appears, and click ok.
