Quilter's Select Cutting MatIntroducing the newest addition to Embroidery.com The Quilters Select Rotary Cutting System. Which includes Cutting Mats, Rulers and of course the Rotary Cutter.
The Quilters Select Cutting Mats are just amazing mats. My favorite feature is that the one inch lines are marked on all 4 sides with two sets of corresponding numbers that read left to right AND right to left.
You will never lose your place or have to count backwards! How many times have you had to get a marker and mark up your mat so you wouldn’t have to count backwards.
They really took in to consideration the quilter when creating these mats with simplicity in mind. The also have 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" markings. As well as multiple angles including 30 degrees, 45 degrees and 60 degrees.

These mats are also self-healing with multilayer mats and are usable on both sides. Check this out one side is light for cutting for cutting dark fabric and the other is light for cutting dark fabrics.
Now lets talk about the rulers... The rulers have easy to read lines along with measurement of 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" markings. As with the cutting mats they have the one inch lines marked with two sets of numbers that read left to right AND right to left.
The yellow color was chosen as it enhances the color of most fabrics and you can see through. Each ruler has this unique non-slip coating on one side that makes for more accurate cutting! With minimal pressure the ruler wont slip off your fabric so no more accidental cuts from the ruler moving.

This is unlike any cutter out there. The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was the weight of it. It feels so sold in your hand you know you are holding a quality cutter. Also the handle has rubber along each side it feels very sure in my hand that it won't slide out mid cut.
This cutter has an ambidextrous design so no matter if you are right or left handed you will love this cutter.
It also has an ingenious way of changing out the blades. There is a magnetic behind where the blade goes so you pull the old blade off slip the new one on and you'll never drop a blade again.
