The perforated paper is easy and fun to work with. It is not hoop”able” so you do have to hold it in hand. It has a nice stability to it so when you are working on it lays straight and flat in your hand. With perforated paper you have some options when it comes to finishing. In the Firehouse above it is left in the square shape and framed. But they have some kits that you cut out like the Mill Hill Santa's. You cut one square bigger then you stitched and can make them into ornaments and such.
