How can I change the size of my design?

There are three ways to think of re-sizing in Essentials: visual, percentage, and measurement. This video demonstrates the use of each.

Sizing by eye (visual):

1. Click on the design, and then you want to use the corner black box to change the size.

2. Click and hold one of the back boxes in the corner, and then drag your mouse down across the design (to make it smaller) or drag up and to the right (to make it bigger)

3. Finish by clickcing the "center designs in the hoop" icon  (the one that looks like a blue maltese cross)

Sizing by measurement:

1. Click on the design, and look to the upper left corner.

2. You can choose inches or milimeters for your size change.

3. To the right of the increment choice, type in the full size that you want to change your design into.

Sizing by percentage:

1. Click on the design, and look to the upper left corner, to the right of the mm/inch choice and to the right of the measurement boxes.

2. You can type in the percentage of the size that you would like.  This isn't the amount of change that you want (choose 98% if you want to make it smaller by 2%), it's the total size you want to have.
