Hi, Pamela. If you still need help, could you please give us some more specific details about the issue you are having, so we can best help you?
Wondering about digital cutters like the Scan & Cut and Silhouette? You'll want to catch this one, because Joanne Banko and Ashley Jones will teach us all about how they can work with embroidery applique!
Hi Stephany, like Leah said, it depends. For anything with an uneven surface or some pile to it (velvet, terrycloth), yes I always use a top stabilizer on that. And often I will use it on a thick pk knit, too, especially with small lettering or detail in my design. Otherwise, no. Most of my embroidery is done without a top stabilizer.
Thank you for reaching out to Embroidery.com. I think that the answer to that question depends on the type of project that you are dealing with. If you would like to give me some details about what you are working on, I would be happy to look into it for you. Thanks again for reaching out with your question. Please let me know if you have any more inquiries, and have a great day!
