Hi, Jayne. The XL1000 hoops do seem to be hard to find. Your best bet would probably be somewhere second hand such as Ebay.

I picked up a Singer Quantum xl-1000 used for a steal but the seller can't find the hoops. Anyone find somewhere to buy them? Everwhere I search that does carry them says they are out of stock, etc. I downloaded the manual from Singer no problem. The machine works like a charm, similar to my newer Juki HZL. Actually, the built in embroidery is nicer on the Singer.
