Hi Karen, most applique designs wouldn't work well for puffy foam, because puffy foam works best when there is no underlay stitching, and applique always has some marker lines, sometimes down the middle of the satin stitch. And the column widths are usually not as wide as you would want them for puffy foam.
We do have a number of fonts that were designed specifically for puffy foam though, right here:
