Any updates on when the big EZ stand will be available? I can finally get one and hope they come back soon. It is on my wishlist.

Hi Sally,
Thanks for reaching out with your question. Unfortunately we weren't able to find a mill that could help us produce the wood faster and at a reasonable price. The stand might be available by September 30th, but it would probably be more accurate to say that the availability date is unknown. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help!

The website shows they are available and says it will ship today. So does that mean you have started to fill orders?

Leah W.
Hi Sally,
As of yesterday, my team let me know that the floor stands should begin shipping any day now. Thanks for reaching out!

Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for visiting this webpage. It looks like you may have started a comment for us, but nothing came through. how long before the floor stands will be available again

Darin Andersen
We are hoping to have some back in stock by the end of the summer. Current mill has to replace their CNC and is overwhelmed at this time. Other mills we have contacted are either too busy now or quoting much higher prices. We want to avoid raising the price of this product if we can, so we are still looking for a mill.

I love my floor stand, but occasionally I need to work on a different frame. Is there a clamp attachment that I can buy to use with my floor stand?

Leah W.
Hi Pamela,
Thank you for reaching out about your questions. The floor stand is compatible with 24”, 30”, 36”, 42” and 48” EZ Stitch frames, but if you are hoping to use a frame from a different company, unfortunately we don't have a way to attach it. Please let me know if you have any more questions and have a great day!

Hi! I'm trying to figure out if I have enough room for this with a large frame on it. Can you give me an idea of how much the stand extends past the frame on each side? (For example, if I have a 42" frame on it, how wide is the total stand?)

Leah W.
Hi Kathryn,
Okay, it looks like the total width of this frame with 42" will be 52". I have attached some pictures for reference. I hope this helps! Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions and have a great day.

I wanted a sturdy embroidery frame. This is definitely sturdy. The assembly instructions were extremely clear, and I was able to put everything together quickly and efficiently. The frame works extremely well.

Jeanne E.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Lisa! We're happy to hear that the floor stand is working great for you. :)

Luanne H.
Hello, I'm considering making this investment. If I went with a 24 inch scroll rod, and my project was 20 in would I be able to use clips on the 20-in rod?

Jeanne E.

Hi Luanne,
I just realized something, are you meaning that you want to clip on the pattern to the rod? That is something that has been asked before, and yes you can clip onto the rod if you have the right clip on. Here's a link to one of our chart clip ons, that works on a rod. https://embroidery.com/product?productsetID=267878... If that's not quite what you were meaning then please let us know. Thanks!

Jeanne E.

Hi Luanne,
Thanks for reaching out to embroidery.com! We aren't sure if using clips would work. But just so you are aware there will be 2" extra space for turning, if you use the 24" rods for a 20" project. And the 24" rods come in 2 diameters 1/2" and heavy duty 5/8". I'm not sure if that helps, but if you still need help please let us know. Have a good day!

Deborah S.
hello - if my finished crossstitch pattern is 12" x 15" can I use a 24" scrolls on the ez stitch frame? I usually work on pictures anywhere from 12" to 18" wide and want to make sure this stand will work for me. I have very bad neck issues from doing crossstitch in my lap and always looking down so this stand looks like it would keep my neck upright while working

Jeanne E.

Hi Deborah,
Thanks for the question! We recommend that you use rods that are at least 2" wider then the fabric. If the fabric is 15" then you should be fine to use 24" rods. If there is extra room then that is fine, it's more of an issue if it's less then 2". Since it's hard to get enough tension if there isn't enough room on the rods. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a nice day!

What is the difference between the Tape Version and Webbing Version? I usually work with you e-z stitch scroll frames, but have been finding the my left arm is sore from always holding the frame. This would make a great addition to my counted cross stitch and keep me stitching.

Jeanne E.

Hi Pamela,
Thanks for the question! The main difference between the Tape and Webbing Versions is the rods. The Tape Version has rods that you tape the fabric onto. The Webbing Version has rods with webbing hooked onto them. So you would need to sew the fabric to the webbing, and that's how it hooks onto the rods. Besides that it's mostly the same product, and will come with all of the same parts. But you will get a roll of tape that goes with the Tape Version, if that's what you decide to order. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a good day!

I know the height is adjustable. Could someone please tell me what the height range is? If is on any of the info above I could'nt find it.

Jeanne E.

Hi Jean,
Thanks for reaching out to embroidery.com! The Floor Stand is 40" or 3.33 feet tall. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!

April S.
Is there a way to order another set of crossbars only?

Jeanne E.

Hi April,
Thanks for checking! I believe that I talked to you on the phone earlier. We'll send you an email with tracking, once the crossbars ship. Have a great day!

Karen K.
Good morning.
I am considering purchasing your floor stand. I have a few of questions please:
- Warranty? Is there a warranty on your product? I have seen some reviews reference issues with hole placement during assembly, missing parts, etc. Will you work to address any issues if I encounter them after purchase?
- Supported weight? What is the heaviest weight (for example of the needlepoint canvas being worked upon) by this frame?
- Reinforced holes? Do all holes, that receive screws, have a metal receiver or is the screw hole simply wood? I am concerned for reaming out of the wood holes (especially on the back cross pieces) over time from use?
Thank you!

Jeanne E.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for reaching out to embroidery.com! Yes, there is a warranty on this product and we will work with you on it, if there are missing parts or hole placement issues. We recommend not putting more then 10 lbs of weight on the floor stand. Yes, all of the holes that receive screws have metal receivers. If you do run into issues later on with knobs, or other parts, not working due to overuse we'll send replacements. You would just need to contact our customer service at 800-428-7606 or email us at [email protected]. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!

Hi, Kim. I think those are still available. Here's a link to all our currently available metal knobs, so you can take a look:

Researching stands and very interested in yours. Please let me know the benefits webbing version vs the tape version and vise versa.

Heather B.
Thanks for the question and the interest, C.P. Tape vs. webbing usually comes down to personal preference. Webbing is reusable and preferred by a lot of our more traditional customers who are used to the basting process. The Tape is a Velcro and is preferred by many of our customers, including our hand embroidery expert here at Embroidery.com (Donnett). It is easy to use and keeps your project nice and securely in place. Please let us know if you have further questions.

I had this stand for 2 years now & I love it. The look of wood is great.
The problem I am having is on the adjustable cross bars that expand the frame, the screws came out. The wood is stripped & no longer holds the screw. It is like this for both top & bottom on the right side facing the frame. It is no longer sturdy & wobbles around. Is there a fix for this? My father said to insert wood toothpicks & wood glue both the screw & toothpicks then snap the toothpicks at the top. I did not want to do that just yet until I posted.

Heather B.
Hi, Teresa. Thanks for the feedback. We're sorry you're having trouble. If you'll email me information to say how many cross bars are having that problem, we can work with you to get this issue fixed. Please email me at [email protected].

I'm interested in getting this, but is there any way to get a different set of scroll rods with it? I prefer the rods with webbing, and I already have a 30".
Talia S.
Hi Tiffany,
We love to listen to our customers, and we have now made it possible to purchase the floor stand with webbing rods. Unfortunately, we can't swap out the length of the rod, but you can buy the webbing version of the floor stand from this page. Let us know if you have any questions!

Hello, I am very interested in purchasing one of these floor stands. Could you please explain to me or direct me to a video you may have on how the fabric is kept taught when stitching using your frame/stand setup? Thank you :)

Donnett H.

In my video How to attach the tape for fabric to the fabric I go over how to to get nice tight tension. It is about half way into the video. I also have lots of other video ins my EZ Stitch Scroll Frame Blog that have a much of tips on all things EZ Stitch. Let me know if you have any other questions. https://www.embroidery.com/help.ec?docid=3576&efid...
