I have 2 Babylock Spirit embroidery machines, are the embroidery units interchangeable?

I've found that to be the case with embroidery machines generally; identical make and model machines have interchangeable parts, but I haven't had a chance to use the Spirit.

I need to know what invisible or transparent thread I can use in my embroidery machine as too stitch for a edge 2 edge quilt?
I did some quilt blocks in a embroidery fill that I don’t want to cover up with quilting! Thanks for any advis
