I was too and was told to format my USB Fat32. It was able to read it after that. Please make sure you have everything saved somewhere else before formatting or it will be lost. Hope this helps someone.

Hi Diane,
I don't know the limit for certain, but it is well known that embroidery machines do better generally with a USB of only one or two gig.
You can try it out on a lower capacity USB if you have one. Or you can erase everything off of your USB and only put your embroidery design on it, and see if that works. Sometimes having less data to sort through is helpful to the machine.
