Ahhh, February, the "love" month! I must admit, "change of heart" sounds a bit pessimistic! But maybe the title will make more sense if I continue... This totally-in-the-hoop design pack, for the 6x10 hoop, features a peaceful angel (finished size 18" wide and 17" high) holding, most appropriately, a heart. It is embellished with 2 bows tied with ribbon that passes through digitized eyelets.

But the angel's secret lies in the fact that those 2 bows, when untied, provide for an additional heart to be attached through its eyelets! There is a "Welcome to Our Home" heart, a patriotic heart, a cancer ribbon heart (wording "angel of hope"), and a blank heart for you to customize as you wish. So yes, there can truly be a "change of heart" (o;

All pieces are constructed with front and back fabrics, firm fusible interfacing, and dense fleece batting; they feature lots of decorative stitching and allow for numerous embellishment possibilities. The tutorial will walk you through the entire construction, and I think you'll find you'll be having lots of "change of heart" moments, not just in February, but throughout the year!

Good question, Cathy. I think it looks like purchased curly doll hair placed in the hoop and appliqued down.

Love this design Jackie, what is the hair made of and how is it attached?

Hi Cathy, thank you for writing! The hair came in a package at Joann's in the doll-making section--you just grab a bit of it and either glue it on or hand-tack it and let it dangle, which is what I did. So it is similar to the reply Kirsten provided, but it doesn't happen in the hoop--you do it afterward as an embellishment. The hair is very "springy" and would probably get caught on the embroidery foot--I'd be afraid to even try it! Hope this helps!

Good point about the springiness of the hair. I was imagining using it under a solvy -- otherwise, I wouldn't try it either!
