MODULAR WALL DISPLAY CABINET #1

We know how valuable display space is. The Modular Wall Display cabinet was created with this in mind. Each cabinet consists of six shelves that are slotted to display 42 different colors. Slots are clearly labeled with a color name and number. Five spools can fit in each color slot, for a storage capacity of  up to 210 spools per cabinet.

Our unique gravity feed system allows the display cabinet to appear completely full, even with only one or two spools per slot. These cabinets were designed to mount to a wall or be compactly stacked. The Modular Wall Display cabinet is available individually or in multiple quantities to accommodate the number of thread colors you carry.

These attractive cabinets are made with a beautiful teakwood laminate finish. Dimensions are 17” wide x 26.5” high x 9” deep. Modular Wall Display #1 includes 42 colors of Hemingworth Thread.

hi I want to collect all 300 colors and I already have the summer season set. I’m trying to figure out if I should just keep buying the 32 sets and then two empty wooden displays or buy two display sets then the rest of the colors gradually open stock? I don’t have room for more than two displays. Also if I buy 2 display sets will I end up with duplicate colors since I’ve already got the summer set

The 32 spool sets are the most economical way to purchase thread other than buying the entire 300 spool set.

Most of the colors, except the five most popular, do not overlap between the categories:

Seasons, Essentials, and Brother Match. Here is a comparison chart: https://images.embroidery.com/pdf/Hemingworth32spoolSets.pdf

The Modular displays are intended for commercial retailers since they store each color of thread on a slider (5 spools deep). An embroiderer could use the cabinet to store 210 spools (42 x 5), but would have difficulty locating a specific color that is stacked out of view.

The most efficient solution is the "Color Box" collection. They fit conveniently on a bookshelf.

Hi,

I was going through the pieces of the display to put it together and the instructions are a little difficult. Are you aware of any tutorials in English or any videos I can watch to put this together?

I may order the rest of the modules depending on how difficult or not it is to put together.

Thank you,

Mary

Hi Mary, you are right. The instructions from the factory are hard to read. This was a needed improvement so we drafted some better instructions. Assembly Instructions. Let me know if you run into any problems with the new instructions. We will start using these instead.
