Well-Dressed Mantle

Introducing...an in-the-hoop extravaganza for the mantle! Well, maybe slightly over-dramatic, but nevertheless, a beautiful project for your holiday decorating! This in-the-hoop set consists of seventeen panels, each created in the 6" x 10 1/4" hoop, that create a beautiful mantle cover up to 99 inches across.

The panels are designed in such a way that the cover can be modified to shorter widths depending on your mantle size. Each panel features a back fabric for a finished look and a light-weight inner-fleece batting for a sturdy yet supple feel, and a variety of applique and decorative stitching for a rich and festive look. The elegant lower border, also a part of each panel's design file, adds the final touch.

Each panel is done in the hoop, and then they are quickly sewn to each other and to a fabric rectangle which provides the base for the mantle surface. And when you're finished? The best-dressed mantle in town!! PS The 8 gingerbread designs are also included as applique singles for the 4x4 hoop, along with the saying "Tis the Season"--I used them all to make a festive 18" pillow. 26 designs included in total.
