1:

Purchase a cotton print or moiré fabric pillow in the color of your choice. A pillow with a pre-made insertion opening (like a fabric picture frame) is preferable.

 2:

Stitch design on your choice of insertion fabric. Trim to 2" bigger than the opening of the pillow - 4" or 5", generally.

 3:

Press the stitched fabric, and slip it carefully into the pillow opening. You might also spray a light starch on the back of fabric before pressing. Let the pillow dry, and then it is ready to be displayed.
