Embrilliance for Beginners: Starting with ABC

In a recent tip video, I covered removing the ‘ABC’ lettering that appears in Embrilliance software when the lettering tool is selected. The video was inspired by a question from a new Embrilliance user. It made me remember the first times I tried Embrilliance. I remember being a little stumped by the lettering in exactly the same way. I had completely forgotten the experience until someone asked. I don’t feel like an expert; yet there is a level of comfort I’ve attained with the software. The things that stumped me at first feel more intuitive now.

There’s a 90 day money-back guarantee on Embrilliance software at Embroidery.com. So you can use it, save files with it, stitch them out, get a feel for the ease of the software, and not fear that you’ll regret the purchase. That’s enough time to sort out anything that isn’t immediately intuitive, and become comfortable with it. It’s a brilliant option.

And here’s that video.

In a nutshell, the "ABC" is a placeholder.

Do you want to know how to remove text without watching? Okay, just look to the right and see the "properties" pane. In the letters tab there, you will see the text ABC. Highlight it with your mouse, and hit delete on your keyboard. Gone. You can also use this space for entering the text which you actually do want.
