1:

This project assumes you are using a 10" pillow form for the center.

 2:

You will need fabric 26" by 13" in size. Embroider the 7 1/2" motif so that it is centered horizontally within the 13" width, and three inches from the bottom edge vertically.

 3:

Fold the fabric in half, to achieve a 13" square. Hem two sides, leaving one side open for inserting the pillow.

 4:

Use a decorative stitch or piping around the central motif on three sides of a 10" square shape.

 5:

Insert the 10" pillow form.

 6:

Finish the decorative stitching or piping on the last side of the 10" square around the pillow form. This permanently encases the pillow form within the fabric.

 7:

Hem the last side of pillow closed.
